#AtoZChallenge Yogurt

It's like the oldest food there is - but it wasn't as popular as it is now - During the 60's, when "health food" was catching on, they used to call yogurt, "hippie food." I ate a lot of it back when I was working in the 70's- I ate it so much, that I am not fond of it, today.

Too sweet. Sometimes, I like to use plain yogurt and sour cream and I add frozen strawberries or blueberries. YUM!

  1. Can't remember the brand now, but I remember in the 1970s when it was popular, this particular brand would have containers of yogurt 10 for a dollar. Good deal at the time so plenty of yogurt (in our household at least) was consumed. These days I do like soft yogurt :)

  2. I eat Greek yogurt everyday. I like plain with honey, vanilla with almonds... I am not fond of some of the sweet combinations they have on the shelves today.

  5. Never liked yogurt as a child but eat a lot now, the Greek type. We try to be mindful of the sugars as they are not all alike.

  6. I've eat a lot of yogurt. But no, I am not that fond of it. I like cottage cheese and fruit better.

  7. Liked the little video. Yogurt is so good for us, and I used to eat the one without sugar, but it made me gag. Had to put fruit in it. : )

    1. I cheat. Frozen strawberries, plain yogurt and then put in some sour cream. That is more of a decedent dessert.
