What are your gas prices looking like?

Gas Buddy

I know that the summer blend is coming and that will bring even higher prices. Our local congressional representative said during his town hall, the added prices are California Taxes for various things to protect the environment.

It cost me $40 to fill up my van - I noticed! I also noticed we have driven more this month and are feeling it in our checking account. Add an extra fill up or two - and that's fun money that isn't used for fun.

Bummer Man.

  3. Two bucks at the moment. I only fill up about once a month. Yesterday it cost me $20. I have a small car and don't go out much.

  4. We are paying about $2.07 for regular gas, 20 cents more for the next grade up here in Arizona. I shuddered for the time we lived in California recently and it was over $4 a gallon.

    1. 9 years ago when we moved from SF up here to rural california, the gas was over $5.00 a gal. and here we are, moving up a 34 foot motorhome and a moving truck, as well as our van. It cost us a fortune!

  5. $2.07 for regular, $2.27 for the next grade up; $2.47 for premium. So stations you can get it for under $2 for regular. The local grocery store here offers a system where you can accumulate points when you shop. Every 100 points you accumulate per month, you can get 10 cents off a gallon. We have taken to buying gift cards there (2x fuel points) for restaurants we are going to go to on the weekend and that helps add up the fuel points. I do not miss the high gas prices in California and you are right, they will go up, up, up, up, up as summer approaches.

  6. Yea, it seems lately that I just fill my tank, and a couple days later I have to do it again. What's up with that? I shouldn't complain though.....it only costs about $25 to fill my tank. : )

  7. Debby, I left a couple comments lately, but they're not showing up, not sure why. Anyhow, Yes, gas prices are going up. But my tank doesn't take too much to fill up, thank goodness. Does the gas prices go up in the summer time?

    Enjoy your week.
