Anniversary

Earlier in the month, as I had stated before - we had our 13th anniversary. We drove up to Reno, and stayed 2 nights. It was fun and different for us. We usually do not go for glitz...we each took $20 and gambled on the slot machines. I did well, but the husband went through it so fast that he basically watched me win. All in all, we broke even and that's all you can ask for.

It was so nice to get away and just be "us".

We went to a few museums - toured a silver/gold mine in Virginia City. I adore that little town. I can totally see the husband and I there - dressing up like 1870's towns people and stroll the area during the tourist season. There was this old guy, dressed like a miner with his donkey. He's retired and has a ball doing this.

  1. Wow, that really looks like an old time ghost town.

    1. actually people are still living in and around the town so its not a ghost town. It's a really neat place. I love it

Comments are good - I admit, sometimes I don't respond back, in time for a dialog. I bad! I will TRY and do better. Thanks for understanding.
