(A-Z) M is for Minivans and Aunt Mae

Besides my Lavender car, my next LOVE was my Van. I sat up high and could see everything. The seats were comfortable and I loved driving it. I love having all that room too.

I paid it off early - and then a few months later, my husband and I went for a "Sunday Drive".  And then I had an accident where I totaled my van. It cracked the frame. It didn't look like it from the pictures but the insurance company totaled it and we got a check for $9000 which we put down on our little red car - that is just OKAY.  I still wish I had my van back.

HAPPY 95th Birthday to my Aunt Mae.

    1. No injuries, but we are stuff suffering - through car payments because we bought a brand new car.

  2. Yes, I have a big fancy SUV at the moment - good for the bike rack or filling up with stuff for the annual trip to Cape Cod - but I still miss my last car. It was a VW sedan and I could park it anywhere. Funny how we get attached to our cars.

I liked my parents mini-van. It even had pretty good gas mileage.

  7. I KNOW that I posted yesterday on this post but it has not appeared. Just to say Happy Birthday to Aunt Mae - she looks amazing! Also I said I was sorry to hear of the car accident and hope no-one was injured? May the 'little red car' be a safe one ..

  8. Vans are so nice. I miss ours when we take my son to the Drive In to watch a movie. But a Lavender car my favorite color would be nice. I do have a purple PT Cruiser though. Happy Birthday Aunt Mae.

    1. Oh I like the PT Cruisers. That is what I really wanted instead of our little red car.

Comments are good - I admit, sometimes I don't respond back, in time for a dialog. I bad! I will TRY and do better. Thanks for understanding.
